Health and Safety at Hito Wellness

Client Checklist

To ensure the health and safety of the therapist and client, Hito Wellness will be continuing to implement personal health and sanitation protocol at the beginning of each massage therapy appointment.  This checklist will be in addition to the increased sanitation measures that are conducted after each client visit.  If you are a new or returning client, please read the below requirements prior to your session.

  1. PLEASE not come to your appointment if you are sick or have a fever. Not only does doing this put other clients at risk but you will most likely feel worse after receiving a massage. Hito Wellness may use the option to cancel the client’s appointment due to apparent illness.

  2. Wash hands upon arrival

  3. Remove shoes before entering treat room

Hito Wellness takes hygiene and safety very seriously.

Continuously following applicable occupational health and safety regulations on a daily basis, Hito Wellness wants to ensure that each client can trust this office not only for the services provided but for the environment created.  A few sanitation and cleaning measures are detailed below.

  • After each guest, the entire bed, all containers used for massage oil, essential oils or any other product, door knobs, faucet handles, light fixtures and any other high traffic surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant.

  • Fresh clean sheets and face rests are used for each guest.

  • Pens, phones, ipads are sanitized after each transaction.

I greatly value the health and safety of clients and community members.  I will do all I can to keep this office safe, clean and open for business.

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty,

Ashley George, Owner of Hito Wellness

Do Your Part to Keep our Community Healthy

The safety and wellbeing of my clients is a top priority.  The Center For Disease Control (CDC) recommends the following precautionary measures and guidelines to keep you healthy and prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

-Use Hypochlorous or alcohol-based sanitizer

-Keep away from others that are sick

-Avoid contacting high-touch surfaces in public places

-Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes, etc.

-Clean and disinfect household objects and surfaces in your home

-Avoid all non-essential travel

According to the CDC, if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider immediately.  Your healthcare professional will work with your state’s public health department and the CDC to determine if you need to be tested for COVID-19.  If you are feeling unwell, I ask that you please take steps to safeguard others and remain at home.
